NEOTIA GETWEL OBSERVES WORLD HEALTH DAY BY WALKATHON

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 29^th September, 2016: World Heart Day on 29 September is the World Heart Federation’s (and the world’s!) biggest platform for raising awareness about cardiovascular disease.  For observing the World Health Day Siliguri’s Neotia Getwel Healthcare Centre organized a walkathon today from Baghajatin Park to Panitanki More of Siliguri.

The programme was flagged off by raising balloons near Baghajatin Park, Siliguri with participants from the society, Neotia Getwel Healthcare Centre Hospital staffs &students from GD Goenka School.

Eminent cardiologist of Siliguri Dr. Joy Sanyal & Dr. Rajesh Nanda associated with Neotia Getwel Healthcare Centre were present on the occasion. Mr. Anurag Srivastav, DM, Darjeeling district and Mr. Kuldeep Singh, IG, SSB Siliguri frontier was the special guest of Honor on the occasion. This year the theme is ‘Power your Life’. The main purpose of the walkathon was raise awareness amongst everyone and makes understand about what they can do to fuel their hearts and power their lives.
